How can I get a high-quality design file?
When designing from scratch, we recommend using vector format files, as they offer better flexibility with resolution and scaling.
For raster format files (JPEG/PNG), it's best to create a high-resolution version at a large size. Scaling down is fine, but scaling up a small-sized JPEG/PNG will degrade the quality.
Prepare a file in CMYK color format to get the best output.
Image quality typically refers to the resolution at a given size. The overall quality depends on the pixel quality, not just the number of pixels. We recommend 300 dots per inch (DPI).
📑NOTE
Artificially increasing the resolution doesn't guarantee good quality.
Low-quality designs with increased resolution won’t be enhanced by our tools.
The ability to improve a design depends on its format:
Vectorize the File: This increases sharpness but may not work for photos. Try a vectorizing tool.
Scale Down: If the design is slightly blurry, reducing its size can help.
Recreate in Better Quality: Use tools like Pixlr, Photopea, Canva, or GIMP (a free, open-source editor). If the design contains only text, our built-in Text Editor can help.
